Sondra Martin Hicks

Founder and CEO

Sondra began her filmmaking career in 1984 producing corporate films for many Fortune 500 companies, and she has produced under her own name, Sondra Martin Productions, ever since. In 2008 she began producing documentary features, and in 2010 she formed HeartStone Pictures.

Sondra has received over 60 international awards. Her documentary work has taken her from East Texas to South Sudan and Mozambique, and the same instinct for a true story shapes every client film.

Josh Hicks

Executive Producer and Content Strategist

Some of Josh's earliest memories are on film sets. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M, and he has spent years making films in some of the most remote corners of the world.

At HeartStone Pictures he works with small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits and mission-driven organizations as an embedded content partner, not a vendor: video strategy, content systems, social media and documentary production, backed by the studio's own professional equipment.
